It was a lovely looking kettle and does heat up well. But even on a small gas ring the coating has flaked off after a couple of months. It doesn’t affect the function but now looks decidedly scruffy. Not a good buy and disappointing quality for La Cafetiere.

Unfortunately only lasted just under two months before the paint started bubbling and flaking and water dribbles out of the bolt attachment area of the handle once boiling. Functionally works but won’t look great for too long.

Looks lovely, easy to fill as lid goes on and off smoothly and kettle pours well. Works well on hotplate on Everhot cooker and also on induction plate. We’re careful not to overfill it and not experienced any problems. Very pleased with purchase and much cheaper than similar models.

Very cheap looking and flimsy, also leaked from screws for handle. Colour also described as cream but was more brown/beige. Not for me I’m afraid!
