Heats up and cooks quickly. Temperature control allows you to choose your preferred balance between how crispy the outsides are and how melted or cooked the insides are. Cooks really well and is easy to clean. Tried a Russell Hobbs 3 in 1 previously and that design allowed grease and melted cheese to get into the electrics, eventually overheating and melting the unit. This toaster is much better and seems to remain clean inside.
Knocked 1 star off as exactly the same design (but with Teflon coated rather than ceramic coated plates) can be found for about half this price online. (£38 vs £79 at Dunelm).

The first time I used it, I fell in love. But after a couple of uses I had to clean burnt food off the grill. It’s difficult to clean with just a sponge, I tried it with soda, after that the food began to burn more. I’m afraid I ruined the grill. but the waffle iron and sandwich maker are ok for now. I’ll try to clean the grill again and hope to restore it. Thanks
